If you have received a parking ticket in the City of Lexington and wish to pay, there are a few options to choose from:

  • The first is paying in person, and this can be done at the City Treasurer’s office at 300 E. Washington St. Only cash or check is accepted when paying in person.
  • Second method is by calling 540-235-5135 and following the prompts given over the phone.
  • Lastly, you may pay by going to the portal: www.tocite.net/cityoflexingtonvapd/portal. If you wish to pay with a card, there is an additional processing fee to use a card.

When paying a ticket, you will need to have either the ticket number printed on the ticket, or you can use the plate of the vehicle that was issued the ticket to process the payment. If a ticket is not paid within seven (7) days, then an additional $10 is added to the fine. If a ticket goes unpaid after thirty (30) days, then an additional $10 is added to the fine and a summons is issued for failure to pay the fine. If you have any questions, you can call the Special Enforcement Division at 540-462-3748 or you may send an email to parking@lexingtonva.gov.
